IEEE Research Presenter
Bio360 | Multimodal Health Data Integration
Developed Bio360, a multimodal health data integration framework designed to detect early physiological changes before clinical symptoms emerge. The system integrates wearable signals, lifestyle data, and clinical inputs into a unified analytical pipeline, enabling baseline-relative monitoring and event-based risk detection.
This work has been recognized with a 3rd Place award at ScienceMONTGOMERY and has been accepted for presentation at an IEEE conference, where I will present how integrated, longitudinal data can improve early identification of conditions such as cardiovascular anomalies and systemic deterioration.
Python Programmer | Biomedical Data Analysis
MIMIC-IV | Time-Series Modeling
Work extensively with Python for analyzing biomedical datasets, including MIMIC-IV and publicly available physiological and transcriptomic data. Focus areas include time-series analysis, signal normalization, and identifying patterns that indicate early-stage disease progression.
Built analytical pipelines using Jupyter Notebooks to clean, process, and visualize complex physiological data, with applications in sepsis detection and multimodal health modeling.
Cell Culture & Wet Lab Experience
Aseptic Technique | Passaging | Microscopy
Gained hands-on laboratory experience through a biotechnology pre-apprenticeship program, working in controlled cell culture environments. Trained in aseptic technique, media preparation, micropipetting, and passaging cells while maintaining contamination-free workflows.
This experience provided a foundational understanding of how biological data is generated, reinforcing the connection between experimental biology and computational analysis.
TEDx Speaker | Science Storytelling
Speech Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZm_OM34uwI
Delivered a TEDx talk at Montgomery College focused on connecting discipline, mindset, and personal growth through real-life experiences. This experience strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and engage diverse audiences.
Public speaking has become an important part of my work, allowing me to present research concepts, explain technical ideas, and translate scientific thinking into accessible insights.
Clinical Experience & Patient Care
EMT | CMA | Emergency Dept | Fire & Rescue
Through EMT training, hospital volunteering, and Fire & Rescue service, I’ve gained exposure to patient care in both emergency and clinical settings. I’ve supported patient assessments, monitored vital signs, and observed how quickly conditions can change in time-sensitive situations.
These experiences taught me the importance of recognizing early warning signs, working effectively in teams, and staying composed under pressure. They continue to shape my interest in connecting clinical care with data-driven approaches for earlier and more informed decision-making.
https://www.spectrumguardians.com/
Founded Spectrum Guardians, a student-led initiative focused on mentoring elementary school students and promoting inclusion through structured peer engagement. Led program coordination, volunteer training, and outreach to create a supportive and consistent mentoring environment.
This experience strengthened my leadership, communication, and ability to work with diverse groups, skills that directly translate into collaborative research and team-based problem solving.
More Than Grades is a heartfelt reflection on what it means to grow up in a world obsessed with achievement.
It speaks to students caught between expectations and exhaustion — and to parents, mentors, and educators trying to understand them.
This book doesn’t preach or prescribe. It listens. Through real-life moments and honest reflections, it explores what happens when pressure replaces purpose — and how young people can rediscover meaning, balance, and authenticity.
It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being real — learning how to pause, how to reflect, and how to build a life that means something.
I’m Sid, a junior at Clarksburg High School (Class of 2027), with a growing interest in how neuroscience, data, and technology can be integrated to better understand human health and cognitive function.
Through projects such as Spectrum Guardians, StressSense, BrainBoost, and Bio360, I have explored how research-driven ideas can translate into measurable impact, from building peer support systems for neurodiverse students to analyzing physiological and behavioral data for early stress detection and health monitoring.
My work sits at the intersection of biological systems, clinical context, and computational analysis, where I aim to understand how subtle changes in data can reflect meaningful shifts in human health. I am particularly interested in developing approaches that enable earlier detection, improved decision-making, and more personalized care.
I hope to continue advancing this work through research in neuroscience and biomedical innovation, with the long-term goal of contributing to more proactive and human-centered healthcare systems.
My Story
MY PROJECTS
Continuous physiological monitoring through wearable devices and digital health applications has become increasingly prevalent; however, clinically meaningful insights remain limited due to fragmented data sources and reliance on isolated threshold-based alerts. This paper presents Bio360, a unified, event-driven health monitoring framework that integrates multimodal physiological data across wearables, health applications, nutrition and lifestyle inputs, and laboratory results and longitudinal medical history into a normalized analytical pipeline. Bio360 emphasizes longitudinal trend analysis and baseline-relative event scoring to identify emerging health risks.
