From the Football Field to the Track β Learning Resilience, Rhythm, and Purpose.
Playing as a cornerback on the varsity football team taught me more than just defense β it taught me strategy, composure, and leadership.
Every snap requires split-second decisions, awareness, and trust β both in your instincts and your team. Balancing academics, training, and community projects while competing at a varsity level helped me develop discipline and focus that extend far beyond the field.
Highlights:
Starting cornerback, known for quick reads and sharp coverage.
Mentored younger players on defensive technique and mental prep.
Brought teamwork principles from football into Spectrum Guardians mentoring sessions.
Track & Field became my space for self-discipline and consistency.
In hurdles, long jump, and triple jump, every inch and every fraction of a second matter β itβs about mastering rhythm, form, and focus.
The sport pushed me to study biomechanics, understand performance data, and merge athletic training with my interest in physiology and wearable tech.
Highlights:
2 x Junior Olympics Qualifier (100m Hurdles 2023, Triple Jump 2025);Β
Competed in county and state-level meets, earning recognition for Hurdles, High Jump, Long jump and Triple jump events.
Ongoing training towards being a Triathlete, applying data tracking tools (HRV, sleep, splits) to optimize training cycles..
